About Prophetess Joanne
Pastor Joanne Cunningham is a woman of God filled with healing fire for God's people. She has a passion for souls to be saved, healed, and delivered under the power of God.
Yet there is much more to the story of the woman, and her ministry, who has impacted the world for more than two decades with the life-saving and miracle-working message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Pasator Cunningham was born in Virginia in 1971 to a teenage mother. She was raised in foster care, until adopted as an infant. Apostle Cunningham stuttered terribly at a young age, not being able to communicate well with her family or friends. She began reading books at 3 years old and having dreams at an early age, not understanding the call of God on her life. Apostle Cunningham experienced the loss of her parents at ages 13 and 18, sending her into a life of depression and whoredom. She completed high school with honors, graduated cum laude from Virginia Union University (VUU), became Miss Black America Richmond and Miss VUU, and completed graduate school with honors at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU).
Apostle Cunningham was a special education teacher and professional counselor for children, adolescents, and adults for over 15 years. She founded Radiance Counseling to help families and their children heal from extreme grief and foundational issues. Despite her natural accomplishments, Apostle Cunningham was still grieved by her adoptive parents' deaths and her promiscuous lifestyle.
In 1993, while walking the streets of Richmond, Virginia, an evangelist ministered and declared Apostle Cunningham to be "an Evangelist and Prophet to the nations". She began her ministry doing street evangelism, tent revivals and miracle conferences all across Maryland, DC, and Virginia.
Apostle Cunningham was ordained as an Evangelist and Pastor in 2008 and 2012. She was Senior Pastor of New Jerusalem Ministries and founder of Bandaids for Kids, formerly Daily Bread International, in 2012, ministering to the masses and feeding hundreds of poor and needy locally and internationally. In 2016, Apostle Cunningham was consecrated as an Apostle and began ministering in the United States, Canada, Africa and India, with strong prophetic and healing waves of glory. In 2018 through 2020, she traveled extensively throughout 5 states in the East Coast region, carrying her apostolic mandate of building churches and believers.
Apostle Cunningham currently operates as an angelic intercessor and mentor for leaders globally. She travels and ministers prophetically for healing and deliverance. Her daily declaration, "I have the mind of Christ", is her promise to the Father in building the Kingdom for Him.
